Rock City Greens is a microgreens company founded by Maria J. Astudillo dedicated to providing fresh, nutritious, and sustainably grown microgreens to its customers, located in Woodstock, NY.
Maria brings her passion for sustainability and her expertise in Ecology and Landscape Architecture to cultivate and deliver the freshest microgreens to the local community.
Originally from Chile, Maria embarked on her journey to the United States in 2014. With a deep love for nature and a desire to make a positive impact, driven by a desire to create a sustainable and environmentally friendly business, Maria decided to establish Rock City Greens Microgreens in 2022.

Taking care of the planet
At Rock City Greens, we prioritize sustainable farming practices. Our microgreens are grown in a controlled indoor environment, allowing us to minimize water usage and eliminate the need for harmful pesticides or herbicides. We utilize organic soil as a growing methods, ensuring optimal growth conditions while reducing our environmental footprint.
Our packaging is 100% Certified compostable by BPI & CMA, they Composts within 2 - 4 months in a commercial composting facility and are made from PLA, a plant-based bioplastic which is derived from corn grown in the USA.
